Some best things happens in your life are mistakes, have you thought of it?

Everyone made mistakes, made the wrong choices, and feel regretful about it but whining about how wrong you were won't bring you any further but forgiving and accepting does.Sometimes I don't understand why some people can blame themselves so much when they can actually do better by stop wasting time on the mistake they have done.

If you are in a situation where you think your world is doomed cuz you made a wrong choice, I wanna give you a word, Congratulations; cuz you know what you did wrong. Realizing your mistakes is one of the hardest thing that some people couldn't do, some people don't even know what are they doing/thinking. But taking the next step is up to you.

Three options : to whine about it, to continue doing wrong or you can make a change.

Option 1 & 2 is basically a waste of time so in the end, you need to make a change. "Thinking" about making a change does not do the magic, but taking "actions" do.
Yes, it is really hard to do something you've never done, the fear you have, the doubts, but your imaginations are just killing you from being someone better, you have no idea what you can do until you push your limits. Little by little, you'll become a better person.

When you ask me do I regret anything about my life now? Yes, and the only regrets I have was not taking chances when I could. This thought me to seize as much opportunities as I can even I'm not sure I if can do it. I could succeed or I could fail, but I will never know if I just sit there and think about it. Opportunity don't wait so you shouldn't waste your time too.

The only failures are people who don't realize their mistakes, so what are you thinking?

This post is sort of inspired by one of my fav song by The 1975 -- "Robbers". I'm not sure if the song is really what I had in mind, but for me, I think this song is about people nowadays are like robbers. No, not robbing someone's goods or money but life.

When I was young, my mom used to advice me not to get into a relationship in such young age. I never really take it as a big deal until I broke up and stayed single until now (tho I'm seeing someone). This is not a post about How Single People Rocks but it's more like a wake up call to couples nowadays, at least what I think now. (I'm ain't no Love Guru, I could be right or wrong)

1. Are you robbing your partner's life?
The one who robs is mostly the insecure one. They don't understand why sometimes their bf/gf need some me-time. They don't understand why are they not in the picture. This happens when overly attached couples suddenly wants to go out alone. I know it's sweet to have your bf/gf around you everytime but honestly, don't you think it's normal to have your own friends, your own life? Couples neglect this a lot. Never, never, forget about your self-own life.

2. Never hold someone back.
If you're dating someone who does not give encouragement but only hold you back, you should really leave him/her. We need someone who give us supports, give us encouragements but not those who tell you words that bring you down or pluck on your flaws. We struggle to kill those negativity in our mind, we do not need more.

3. Don't forget about yourself.
Yes, it's really sweet to think about your partner but some people lose a lot of opportunities cuz they think their partner doesn't like it. Yes, like I said, the insecure ones are mostly afraid that their partner will become greater and then leave them. This is legit case happening in some relationship and also, the biggest bullshit I ever heard. I believe if you love someone, you want him to be greater and if he loves you, he will never leave. Don't stop someone from chasing their dreams and don't stop chasing your dreams for someone.

4. Don't give promises easily / Don't believe in promises.
Sometimes when people try to comfort someone, people tend to give empty promises. Some people say things they can't do but just to let you feel better for awhile. Always have this mindset that never believe in promises easily cuz they are just words. Take in real actions, not words.

5. Happiness is always on your hands, not him/her.
Always be happy for yourself not because someone makes you happy. Of course you want to be with someone who makes you happy but do not forget about building your own happiness ie, achieving your dreams. You can't expect someone to give you happiness forever, they give in, they can take it away but always have in mind that nobody can take away what you build, your own happiness :)

Lastly, ending this with "Robbers" - The !975

My everyday make up is actually pretty simple, very light and natural. I don't like applying a lotsa stuff on my face (tho it's already a lot of stuff there) and I always think that I wanna least diff after I remove my make up lololl. Well, this is not a very proper make up tutorial but this is really how I do my make up everyday.

To be honest, I was planning to dub on my make up tutorial videos but I think my voice sorta ruined it so lets stick it the way like this lolll. Hopefully you get what I'm doing and I'll try my best to improve my video filming & editing skills. Hehe! More videos to come soon!

One thing I can't live without is my contact lenses. I've been wearing them since 13 and its already been 9 years (still counting). In these 9 years, I've tried various brands of contact lens, from the ones sold in optical shops and the ones from the internet. I sort of ditched the ones from optical shops cuz I think the one sold on internet has more choices but now, I don't wear those sold online or outside optical shops anymore cuz I think that those unauthorized ones are actually very dangerous. What if one day something happen to my eye and the online shop went dissapear. I know I sound a little contradicting cuz I once model for some online contact lens shop few years back, luckily there was no problem with the lenses but still, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Anyway, there's a lot people asking me what brand I'm using now on my instagram. The past month I was introduced with a new color lens series, Lacelle by Bausch + Lomb. Yes, Bausch + Lomb is famous for their super breathable lenses so I'm really glad they have this series launched!

I've been so busy these days, I can't believe it's already the 3rd week of October! I thought I just celebrated my birthday but it was already a month ago :( Anyway, my October is been great, been cooking with something big and hopefully I can get to announce this secret project before 2014 ends.

Macau is one of the most beautiful place I ever been, especially at night where the city lights are on. I remember the last time I've been to Macau was a year ago, on July. I have no idea why I did not eat anything Macau in Macau. I actually tasted macau through a franchise. It was awesome and I'm pretty sure the ones in Macau is even more yummy!

Yes, from this 233 meters height of Macau Tower. No, I didn't not try it yet but someday I will.

I've been blogging a lot about skin care these past few years and I always believe that keeping good skin is more important than putting on make up. I am the kind of person who will invest in skin care products, even my cosmetics are skin-care based.

Anyway, a lot of people have been asking about my skin care routine on my previous make up tutorial so I decided to do a really quick one.

To be honest, my skin care routine is really really simple, the only fancy thing is this cleansing brush from Clinique. The Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush is gentle yet reacts greatly to the skin. It doesn’t cause wrinkles and my skin feels smooth to the touch after every usage. I didn't know about the rave surrounding this cleansing brush until I got my hands on it. This really made me feel like I've wasted my life hand washing for nothing. "You thought you've seen the world, until you came off the roof." Not sure whether you understand this, mainly it means that this world is so big, there's many things to be discovered, to be inspired. Which explains why I love travelling, I love getting inspired with people and their lifestyles.

I love talking to friends who graduated abroad and came back with great stories. It is true that people who studied abroad always come back will different mindset, and mostly, they're so inspired by the cultures and lifestyle they had in that specific countries.

As you grow up, you tend to realise things, want matters and what not. Let me tell you something, something I think that people, especially kids who just grown into adults have to learn, is that we only had a chance to live this life and what matters most isn't how to "survive" through this life but the memories you create. Like my lucky friends who get to study aboard, they had so much great memories, it makes me jealous! Well at least when they get old, they get to tell interesting stories to their children!

I really wish I had the chance to study abroad. If you're considering whether you should go abroad or just stay in the same place, please, please take the chance. I can guarantee you will never regret even if it's hard to cope with a new life at the beginning. Have you heard of something like "Take the opportunity and figure it out after that." Yes, that's how you gonna make great memories.

Don't limit yourself because you are afraid. The only thing we wouldn't want to regret in life is the time we wasted, the time we couldn't travel back to.

3. Opportunity to settle permanently in New Zealand

If you complete your course successfully, you automatically get a 12 months 'Work Permit' under the student visa policy. In most instances this permit will be done at your institution itself. This allows you to work full time in any job of your choice. However if you want to get a New Zealand Permanent Residency (PR), then you have to find a job that is relevant to the course that you have completed. Eg: If you have completed a course in IT, then you have to find a job as a programmer, analyst, etc. This will immediately give you a 2 years work permit with all rights like free medical, etc. Upon receiving this 2 years work permit then you can apply for PR and normally will get it within 5-6 months. If you do not find a job that is relevant to your course, you can continue to work in any job for 12 months and try and recover some of the investment you have made towards your study in NZ. You will that way end up by recovering a bulk of the fees you have paid and also end up with an international experience which will come in handy if you have to return to India. There are plenty of jobs in NZ, and while it may not be easy to get one, if you are good enough, you will easily get one.

Hi guys! I finally have the time to sit down and open my laptop. I've been really busy after coming back from my Europe trip, so many things to keep track on after having 2 weeks of fun. Yes, as busy as it seems, I sort-of went viral two days ago on facebook, thanks to some psychotic idiot who wrote TWO bullshit posts about me on gigacircle. Don't worry, I wasn't really affected by the posts, I really took it as a joke. Anyhow, I think that I needed to say something to keep my guards so yea, posted a statement on my facebook page and I'm glad to have my readers who always back me up and believe in who I am. #blessedmuch

Okay this post has nothing to do with it, I was wondering what should I blog about my Europe trip. The first thing my friends ask me about my Europe trip is "Which place I love best?", I couldn't really decided one, but I think PARIS is one of the best cuz I just had I the BEST MEAL I EVER HAD in my entire life - - - L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon (credits to Aileng who introduced me to dine here)

I never really fancy fine dining, cuz I usually think that it's not worth to pay so much for such little portion B-U-T this one, seriously, this one just had my mind blown. Lucky us, we manage to get a table by walking in (we actually made a reservation an hour before we dine so I guess we considered as walk-in lol), it's better to make a reservation if you're planning to dine there.

Compared to a la carte menu, we think it's more worth to just go for the designed 11-course menu as we can try most of the dishes. It's Euro 198 per pax and yes crazy expensive if you convert it to ringgit. BUT TRUST ME, NO REGRETS for paying the price for fine food they serve. They have a few branches in a few countries but from what I know, this one I went in Paris is the best.

11-course meal is crazy, every dishes are so well presented, every bite are like sparkles! The dishes literally brought my taste buds into the whole next level, never enjoyed a fine dine so much (as I always think it's such pain in the ass for paying so much for a meal). THIS TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE. I think I can never forget this amazing food experience #ithinkicandiepeacefullynow.

If you ever travel to Paris, please spare some extra money to pay a visit to is amazing restaurant.

To be honest, I'm a huge fan of Maggi. I once tweet about my best combi “breakfast” is actually Maggi and a cup of Milo few years back and it is still my fav. I could say my fav flavor goes to Asam Laksa but I also like the others like curry/tomyam/chicken flavor.

It is not that I wantto be so thick-face but I seriously think that I cook the best maggi (soup ones); I never really like people cooking my maggi cuz I think they can't do the taste I wanted, except for my mom, she does it how I likes it #momsthebest

So here's my secret to cook the best bowl of maggi in 3 minutes.

I'm cooking a new flavor today, Maggi Royale – Penang Seafood Curry.

For me, my maggi couldn't be complete without an egg. I'll actually go to neighbour to get eggs if I am eager to have a bowl of maggi but I don't have eggs lol.

Usually how I do is, I use my bowl to measure how much soup I want, I like my soup to taste thick so just pour a little more water to estimate that it will evaporate. Also, I uses hot water cuz I want it to boil fast.

THIS IS AWESOMENESS.

See how big pack is the chili paste, also comes with cremer and prawn flavoring. Yums.

Put everything in when it started to boil.

So when to add the egg? Right after you feel the noodle is less hard and starting to soften. I just leave my egg at the side and continue cook my maggi.

Close the fire when you can feel the noodles are still bouncy. Noodles that are too soft will just kill the whole bowl.

And here you go, my ideal bowl of Maggi.

Look at the egg yolk *droolllll. Sorry for being full of my maggi lolll.

Soup is just nice.

Btw, I'm really impressed with this Penang Seafood Curry flavor. I think I did a great job cooking it cuz it taste like it came from penang or maybe its just Maggi did a great job on the flavor #asalways. I'm so gonna try the next one flavour in the Maggi Royale range, the Maggi Royale Korean Spicy Braised Beef! Any suggestion what should I add in? Kimchi???

London oh London, it was like a dream to me, how I wish I could stay longer. It's my first time to London and I'm glad I'm here with him *blush*. To him, London is like home and he actually planned everything in advance, making reservations months ago for dining places, words couldn't describe how blessed am I *blushblushblush*.

This is one of the places he say he must bring me to, Berkeley's designer afternoon tea, Prêt-à-Portea Afternoon Tea. Yes, this ain't no normal afternoon tea but a very fashionable one. Everything inspired by the It-fashion, with a seasonal menu that changes every six months. It's a very girly thing to do so I'm pretty impressed that he would actually bring me here. I mean even me myself don't really do afternoon tea time kinda thing but this is all for the fashion!

It's going to be 2015 in few days and I've been thinking about how much I've done this year. Had a little conversation with the girls today and we talked about how much we had gone through, and I'm glad each of us is getting better.

I always have this little habit where everytime before I sleep, I tend to think about life, and then I'll write about stuff and post it in my wechat (sorry,my wechat is very personal lol) so things that I think it might inspire, I'll post it publicly. This is the recent one I posted on my facebook page :

This was inspired by a quote I read online, saying something like "People often think about their future, but the forget if they'll survive tomorrow." which hits me pretty hard. Like what usual parents say, or the society thinks, you have to do this this this, so you can have a better future. True, thinking about your future is a good thing but I often think that enjoying the moment is as important as the future.

You can have all the future you want, but always give appreciation whenever you can, whenever you have the chance to, cuz the only thing you do not want to lose is the moment, the chance, the time you could have.

I'm pretty glad that this year, I learn so much about not wasting time. I seen friends who hate their life so much but they are still the same old them one year ago, doing the same old routine. No offense, if you are comfortable with your life, go ahead, but if you are not and you are not doing anything to change, why are you complaining? Why are you not taking a step? You did? Why did you stop? Prolly you do not want it as much as you thought. I believe that if you ever have a dream, and if you believe in your dream, nothing is impossible. No one can help you if you are not even convinced with your dreams. Life is pretty much cruel like that.
