Remember the Herbal Essences X Neo Gal party I was talking about? If you don't, you totally missed a lot of fun! It was the first party right after I came back from Japan, glad that it was a japanese theme event, after all, we all do love Japanese fashion.

I was the representative for Soft Lavender & Cheesie was Sweet Rose.

Yey to Lavender cuz I love Lavender! I was planning what to wear to the party and I realize I don't really have any purple clothes to wear. Thank god I found Ashley's purple checkered shirt. And now I realize I forgot to take an ootd shot. #majorfail

Anyway, welcome to my Soft Lavender booth! We have a D.I.Y hairband bar and also, a spray tattoo bar!
It took my quite sometime to figure how to use a hot glue gun but these girls are experts! I think I failed Kemahiran Hidup in the past lololl.

Wanted to get some spray tattoo but there's so many people waiting to so I gave up. Regretted cuz I think it'll match my badass-ish neo gal look!

Nana & I at the Soft Lavender Photowall!

We can even decorate our pictures! Okay the left pic is a bit fail cuz I wasnt ready lololll.

On the other side, Sweet Rose!
Invading Cheesie's territory. Hahaha.

Sweet Rose has this awesome Cupcake bar where we can decorate our own cupcakes!

My masterpiece.
I miss cherry blossom so much I put on some pink and white flowers on my cupcake!

Besides that, there's also performances and hair make showcase.
Claris is also a blogger, she has great voice!!

And there's also DJ Janechuck on decks to end the party. LOLOLL. Okay Me.

It was a great party and I hope we can have more japanese fashion parties like this in the future!
Thank you Herbal Essences and Nuffnang & Churp Churp for the awesome party!

A little bit about Herbal Essences Japanese Series before I end my post!

Ever #ReThinkYourMouth? When was the last time you visited a dentist? To be honest, I used to be so lazy to get my teeth check-up and think that it's not necessary to go for a dentist unless something goes wrong with my tooth. Until the day when I went to consult about my invisalign @ Mydentist, Jalan Ipoh, and the dentist did a brief check up with my teeth and told me that I have a tooth decay. When he asked when was the last time I did check-up, I literally lied to him that I go to dentist at least twice a year (cuz I think normal people does that) but truth is I'm lazy and my dental care at home is just.... lazy.

Okay so do go for dental check up if you have time. Meanwhile at home, dental care is as important too.

First, Your toothbrush is as important as your tooth paste. Please don't buy those super cheap tooth brush with eventually will hurt your gums and those just briefly bursh of the surface of your teeth only. Spend a little bit more (just like few ringgit difference) for a better toothbrush, like me, my favourite goes to Oral-B.

I am using Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Pro-Flex toothbrush which removes up to 93% of hard-to-reach plaque. I even did a mug shot for my toothbrush lololl.

Then, it's the mouth wash and floss. My dentist told me that brushing out teeth is not enough, we can't kill the bacterias entirely without using mouth wash and flossing our teeth! Another thing about mouth wash is also to kill your morning breath :P

Anyway, Oral-B Pro-Health Tooth & Gum care Mouth Rinse (with its 2-in-1 action) fights cavities, freshens breath and its alcohol free formula is suitable for everyone especially those with sensitive mouth and gum.

The mouth rinse also contains Cetyl-pyridinium Chloride, a clinical proven ingredient to help reduce plaque formation.

As for Oral-B Pro-Health Floss, it releases a burst of freshness and helps remove plaque and food particles from between teeth and just below the gum-line.
There's so many things about mouth care that we neglect in our daily life. Especially as a girl, we love eating desserts and everyone knows that sugar does no good for our teeth! Anyway, you can know more about dental care with Lisa Surihani here with Oral-B!

Lastly, ReThink Your Mouth today and give your mouth the best oral protection with Oral-B!

Can't believe I am back from Seoul for 2 weeks already :'( I haven get enough of Seoul! I should have extended my trip...but I want my girls to explore Seoul with me too so I decided not to and now, I really regret for not extending my trip.

I didn't have much time to explore Seoul myself cuz this time travelling to Seoul is for work so basically my itinerary was well planned by the Converse team. *Big thanks to Converse & Streething for having me!*

But if you ask me about Seoul, I will say it's all about coffee/cafes and cosmetics stores! I really want to go back to Seoul again to explore their coffee culture. It's crazy! You'll see different cafe concepts in one street. I am so gonna make a list for my next Seoul trip (prolly next year with my girls hahaha.)

Anyway, if you ever go to Seoul, YOU MUST NOT MISS ALL THE BEAUTY/COSMETIC STORES they have there! You can simply just go to Myeongdong area (which is more like a tourist spot, according to the koreans, they don't really do there lolololl.). Good thing about shopping in Myeongdong area is the staff there normally speak chinese.

This is only one of the street in Myeongdong.

Apparently if you can't make it to Seoul but you want to buy korean made beauty/cosmetics products but you dont want to buy them in the stores we have in KL (cuz it's crazy expensive), you can simply go to Hermo.my to grab them. I've blog about Hermo.my long time ago, they revamp their website and now, with more brands and products!

From what I've calculated, the price you can get from Hermo is quite reasonable compare to the actual price we can get from Seoul. Honestly it's not that cheap buying beauty/cosmetics in Seoul, I only bought a set of gel masks and one lip tint. Which I can actually get it in Hermo too lololl.

This is one of my favourite gel mask I got in Seoul. It's from Nature Republic and it's actually not that cheap. 55000 won for 10 sheets if I'm not wrong.Which means getting it in Hermo is actually cheaper. WTF.

How can?!!?!

Honestly, I am quite amazed with Hermo.my especially when you can get stuff that is sold out everywhere. Like this super hit Banila Co. CC cream everyone raving about. I even got the Primer and Powder too!
Yeap, this is how I cheat my radiant skin :P Love it much!

Lastly, before I end this post... there's good news!
Hermo turns 2!!!

To reward Hermo customers, they are having one of the biggest sales starting from 12.6.2014 to 18.6.2014!!
Spend RM50 and get RM20* off (cash rebate based on different level of members, Platinum, Gold or Normal.) Besides,Purchase anything from Hermo and get a free goodie bag worth RM30 ( While stocks last, i was told that 1,000 qty available only.)

My experience with Astro PVR

It's been ages since the last time I actually watched tv. I'm always out getting busy, attending events, gigs, meetings and I don't really have time to watch tv though sometimes I really wonder what are the latest shows on tv nowadays.

But thank goodness, now it’s much easier for me to catch up with TV with Astro PVR.

Before I forget, this is the Astro Personal Video Recoder (PVR) and did you know it can be connected to the Wi-Fi? All I can say is Astro definitely brings the experience of watching television to a whole new level.

Basically here are a few things about the new Astro PVR:

1. A brand new interface with Multi-language programme guide.

If this is new to you, don’t worry, tune in to Channel 100 for step-by-step tutorials on how to go about the new interface.

With this new feature, it’s more user-friendly for people who are more familiar with their own mother tongue than with English. There are FOUR different languages to choose from; English, Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil and Chinese.

2. Series Link feature where you can record any choices of series! With just one click, you can automatically record the entire series or specific episodes of your favourite TV programmes.
This is a very useful feature as I follow certain TV programmes closely. Now with the series link, I can queue and set to record my favourite American Idol series. I can also choose to record future episodes!

3. Pause and rewind as you wish. Catch instant replays of missed action, or simply pause and resume watching whenever it's convenient.

Being able to pause and rewind whenever we want means we can go for toilet breaks grab a snack without missing the best bits of our movie/tv series episode loll

4. Dual tuner lets you record 2 programmes simultaneously while watching a pre-recorded show.

What happens when you want to watch your favourite TV series but your sister wants to watch Running Man? This is when the dual tuner comes into the picture. This feature allows you to record two live channels at one time while you watch a pre-recorded channel.

Good, don’t need to fight with my sister for the remote loll

5. Wi-Fi enabled: Your PVR is Wi-Fi enabled for connection to your home Wi-Fi internet,
giving you access to download Video On Demand (VOD) and Catch up TV

You’ll just need internet at home and you will be able to access Astro Video on Demand and Catch Up library. There are thousands of titles to choose from!

It’s so simple loll

Since we’re talking about Video on Demand (VOD) and Catch up TV, let’s not forget that VOD actually allows us to watch the content at your own time/anytime as compared to normal channels. This means that with Astro VOD, we don’t have to wait for our favourite great shows to appear on TV!

Just by connecting PVR to the internet, we can actually download and watch up to 6,000 hours of content from the library. I'm not sure is it me or this invention is so brilliant it takes time for me to digest. For your information, there are about 6000 TV shows & Movies available on VOD! We can record our favourite programmes, as the PVR has a large disk space of 500GB capacity for over 290 hours of SD or up to 100 hours of HD recoding.

If you subscribe to the Super Pack Package, it comes with Catch-Up TV which allows you to access the HBO VOD library which features old and new HBO series such as Games of Throne Season 1 to 3, all seasons of Sex and the City and also HBO Orginal movies.

In addition, the Enhanced Video On Demand (VOD) catalogue enables user to experience better browsing and search capabilities according to genre, title, season and episode, providing customers with more control and choice over how they enjoy entertainment.

An enhanced and more capable Search engine - For easy navigation and content discovery, where recordings or titles are categorised according to language, year of release, broadcast date and time as well as filter”

If you are still in the old Astro era, you should really consider upgrading to the newest Astro PVR. So many new things to discover and I think I'm going to spend more time with my tv now. You can learn more about it here

We finally get to strike off Taylor Swift from our must-watch list! Daphne and I have a list of artist/bands we must watch them perform live and Taylor Swift is one of them. We are so so so glad that she's finally here in KL after so many years, all thanks to AIA as the lead sponsor who brought her here. I couldn't imagine if she didn't come to Malaysia, me and Daphne willprolly fly to somewhere just to watch her, which we are planning to do so for other artists including Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Birdy, Lorde etc. Purposely stating them here.. maybe someday AIA will consider bringing them here tooso we don't have to fly abroad lololl.

Taking a pic with Taylor’s life sized cut out to prove that we watched Taylor Swift!

Daphne and I have something in common about Taylor, we both listento her songs when we broke up thelast few years. It's like she knows what we're feeling. Can't believe Taylor Swift is just around our age....look at her.. so so so successful ( what am I doing here, I shall start writing songs too lolololll okay don't really have that talent so...)

Taylor Swift sold out concert.
The Red Tour is crazy packed with people! You can also see that there are tons of people wearing Red too. Everyone is chantingfor Taylor! Taylor! Awaiting her to appear on stage in any minute.

#butfirstletmetakeaselfie

Bump into Dennis too! So yea, #letmetakeaselfie again.

Didn't take manypictures while she was performing cuz both of us were enjoying the show. But here are the few shots taken.

This is the set when she was performing “ The Lucky One”. I think this song is quite sad, and she prolly wrote this when she was in a downtime with all the medias and paparazzi.

“And they tell you that you’re lucky.
But you’re so confused,
Cause you don’t feel pretty, you just feel used.
And all the young things line up to take your place.”

HIGHTLIGHT OF THE WHOLE RED TOUR.
Taylor Swfit sang my fav song “Enchanted”. Sorry it's not a song from Red album but I love this songs so much!
“This night is sparkling, don't you let it go
I'm wonder-struck, blushing all the way home
I'll spend forever wondering if you knew
I was enchanted to meet you..”

Overall I couldn't get enough of Taylor Swift. Both me and Daphne hope that she could sing more songs . Most of her songs were from her latest album, Red but we wished she could sing something more acoustic. (or maybe just cuz both of us love acoustics).

Thank you AIA for bringingTaylor Swift here to KL and we sincerely hope that they will bring more awesome artists that have yet to perform in Malaysia!

Shape it up!

I don't remember when was the last time I weight myself, I just don't have the courage to stand on the weight machine. All I know is I definitely gained some weight after I came back from Seoul or maybe I already gained after eating so many good food. Fact is, I am a foodie. I even created a new hashtag #janechuckfeast on instagram so I can share some good food places and looking at it makes me feel extra guilty lololll.

I can't deny that I love exploring new food places but now it's time to face the consquences of being such a beast.... I finally decided to work out, everyday. I used to do squats few months back but then I stopped cuz I always decide to do it tomorrow and tomorrow is a never ending tomorrow. Yes, it's just squats and I can actually feel lazy about it, I'm so fail like that.

BUT I AM NOW REVIVED. I know how fat I feel ( honestly, I don't think I'm fat but I'm definitely not slim and my body is so flabby) and I decided to tone my body. I started doing home work out almost everyday (about 30-60 minutes work out).Squats, plank, sit ups and anything that do with ass and abs.

Okay now you know why I do not want to instagram this, look at that fat tummy. But but but, give me sometime!

One good feeling I really like post work out is my skin, apparently my skin became more radiant and smooth after sweating,

Besides working out, food intake is actually very important. Esepcially when I wanna lose those tummy fats and let them turn into amazing abs, not sure if I can make it till amazing abs but I just want some nice body lines. I decided to replace my breakfast into my favourite Nestle Fitnesse.

I used to eat them for diet when I was in highschool but I didn't know they came out with new flavours – Honey & Almond and Fruits. Awesomeness overload!

By reading it's name “Fitnesse” you should know it's made for people who wants to keep fit. Low fat, low calorie and high in fibre. My favourt will go for the Honey & Almond cuz I love honey! But I have them in alternate days just incase I get bored to one.

I love eating my cereal with milk, and yes, Nestle Fitnesse tastes best with cold milk, like super cold milk. Yummmssss.

Anyway, I also decided to take a break from all the good food and join this Fitnesse 14 day Program cuz I'm going to the beach in 2 weeks!!!!!!! I need my bikini body in 2 weeks so this is it!!! ( but I think I'll definitely have a day or two cheat day lolololl)

Basically they will generate a meal list that suit your lifestyle, and I'm amazed with the yummy home cook recipe they have!

If you're planning to shape up too, you can generate your own 14 days program here :

Anyway, I hope I can keep myself motivated and I think I'm loving how my lifestyle is getting healthier tho it's just a small twist in my daily routine. I believe working out and eating healthy (and of course I hope to sleep earlier too) will help!

It's been a while since the last gadget event I attend. This one is quite a last minute, but definitely a good one! Not sure if any of you heard of HUAWEI, I knew about Huawei but I never have my hands on them until the day of Huawei Ascend P7 launch @ Grand Hyatt.

When I was informed to attend Huawei event, I doubted a lil cuz I never know the existance of Huawei in Malaysia and I was not sure if any of us will actually consider about Huawei but once you got your hands on Huawei's new Ascend P7, your mind will go woahhhh.

Mr. Gary Xu revealing Huawei's new invention, the Ascend P7.

Huawei is a very very big brand in China and NOW I KNOW WHY. It's one crazy amazing product. Just so you know, most of the things are made in China and building Huawei, a brand that represents China, they uses the finest, the highest quality to beat other competitors. In the event, they actually make comparisions with apple and samsung prodcuts, the biggest win out of all features is the 8mp front camera they built into the P7 (fyi, iphone 5s is only 1.2 mp...)

Not the best yet... THEY INVENTED “GROUFIE” feature where you can actually capture panoramic image with P7's front camera.
AMAZZZZINGGGGGG.

I love how the Chinese knows the urban culture so well, they creates the best things that fits us. I am totally amazed. To be honest, all of us bloggers went mad after we tried the “groufie” feature. Here's more about Huawei Ascends P7 :

Tokyo leftovers.

So many Tokyo "leftovers" in my drive so I decided do a photo post since I have no idea what to do with it. Looking at them make me miss Tokyo so much! I am so gonna go back there again next year, hopefully I can make it at the same Cherry Blossom season. If you're planning for a Tokyo trip, I strongly suggest to go on the Cherry Blossom season cuz it'll make your trip extra worthy and here's  why :
  1. The weather is just right, not too cold, but not warm. Big plus point for fashionistas who love to wear layering outfits, just in time to wear our favourtie biker jackets lol.
  2. Hanami Hanami Hanami!!!! Hanami experience is one of the best part of my Japan trip, you can read about it here.
  3. You'll get to see/eat seasonal items, Sakura burgers, coffee, sweets, etc.
  4. The streets will look extra beautiful with the cherry blossoms. Trust me, it's like what you seen in their anime scene.
  5. You might bump into Miranda Kerr lololl. ( Miranda Kerr was in Tokyo at the same time for some events, no I didn't bump into her but just that it's cool lololl.)
  6. Probably the whole world will be in Tokyo and your news feed will be flooded with Toyko pics and you don't want to feel left out. hahha.
Anyway, here's my Tokyo leftovers that I have no idea what to do with them (mostly food...so don't blame me for making you hungry!)

Best Tsukemen ever, had them last year and decided to go back again!
Okay I don't really know how to describe the place but I found it on Google Map lolololl so click here to find out where (underground restaurant) . It's near Birkenstock meiji-dori.
Tea-time at Sunday Jam Harajuku.

Super pricey Laudree cosmetics.......

We had snow crab near Ginza
Most pricey meal we had in Tokyo :/ but it's okay, thank god it's good lol.

My must go burger place in tokyo, The Great Burger!

Yakitori at Meguro!

Freshness Burger!

While queing for Eggs & Things!

Heh, I just made myself hungry right now....

Wifi in Japan!

$

There's a lot of people been asking me how do I access internet in Japan? Fyi, the wifi availabality for public use in Tokyo is not as broad as Seoul. In Seoul, you easily find wifi access even if you're just walking on any street likeMyeongdong/Hongdae/Gangnam etc, and it's amazing how their public wifi works so well.

I'm quite glad that I made a great choice by booking a guesthouse in Tokyo like how I did last year (different guesthouse). My host in this trip is a super nice guy, I booked 2 rooms for 4 of us from his apartment and he actually provided us 2 pocket wifi so we can access the interenet easily around town. He even loan us the pocket wifi to Osaka and after the trip we gave it back.

Yes, it is better to get a pocket wifi if you're planning to travel in Japan. Of course you don't have to purposely buy a pocket wifi (which I don't think you can buy it here), but you can always rent it before you travel.

This is a site where I find it handy : http://www.beeemobile.com/#!wifi/c3c1

One thing I love about Beee Moblile pocket wifi is their easy pick up and drop off at the airport. All you have to do is make a reservation through their site, make payment and then pick it up when you arrive the airport. The rental charge will be applied from the date of depature until the day you drop it off at the airport. Great thing is there is no deposite charges unlike some other supplier that will actually charge a deposite up to RM600.
You can check the rate here : http://www.beeemobile.com/#!rent--rate/cmvl

A tip for you while using the pocket wifi, remember to bring your charger everywhere as most pocket wifi battery life last up to half day only. As for Beee mobile pocket wifi, their battery usage is up to 12 hours and one pocket wifi can share up to 10 devices!!!

Anyway, I just realize that through Beeee Mobile, you can actually rent digital devices such as the famous casio TR-15, instax mini and also powerbank lololl.. Also, if you are going to travel in the winter season, you can actually rent winter wear from them too! Just rent all in one shot so you don't have to buy it for your trip haahah.

Okay that's it about having internet in Japan! Hope this helps!!

How I like my music like that.

Music is part of my life, I don't know since when but music became so important to me, it's sort of became a key to my life now. Music is one of the element that inspires me, inspires my fashion style, inspires my life style.

I believe that as we grow up, our choice of music and our music taste changes base on what we were exposed. Like how we explore music from the songs our parents/sisters/brothers played back then, slowly we find what we like to listen and what we dont. My life was basically from English Spice Girls pop era to Chinese Jay Chou / S.H.E / Lee Hom (primary school) to Eminem / B.E.P/ rap to J-pop Koda Kumi (secondary) to…........ okay too many genre of music I listen to lololl.

If you realize that I've been sharing music around my social media platforms. I belive that music brings people along and I feel really really good when people love the music I listens. Which somehow explains why me and daphne are so close cuz we love the same type of music. We have almost the same taste and we can actually listen to the same song/album without getting bored for the whole month. It's like theres a thing belong to us, okay I sound a little bit gay now #thisisawkward but what I'm saying that, music is a really powerful thing.
We are totally addcited with Sam Smith.

Just so you know, I finally signed up to KKBOX! Apparently it's very famous in Taiwan & Hongkong but I only know about it recently lololl. It's something like spotify but then better because I'm asian and I listen to asian music too. KKBOX cover it all! Both Asian and Western music. But I still wish that they can update their English music as aggressive as the Chinese pop.

Back about exploring music, I used to go youtube and type a song that I like and then explore similar music at the related bar on the right and somehow ended in some weird japanese commercial videos (I bet everyone encounter that lololll)and now with KKBOX's discover button, where you can discover music similar to your fav songs.

And this is my June Addiction! What I love about KKBOX is we can download this app up to 5 devices including our laptop and ipads. Just log into our acc and your playlist you created or what you played will be in any devices you use.

BEST OF THE BEST THING ABOUT KKBOX.....
There's a lyrics button where you can sing along your fav song!!!!!! I belive there's some of you who love to sing before sleeping......

I'm actually still exploring KKBOX, as I know, you can follow me and listen to what I'm playing when I'm on air. You can find me at Jane Chuck :))

You can try downloading the app and use it as free-trial and then if you love it, let me know cuz I'll be giving away KKBOX 7-days-trail pack but limited to 20 only!

Just fill in this form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16T0EXC0qneaIxQLrOMH4I1iU9D0UHT12tfyMt_tdhsY/viewformand make sure your not the 21st person :P Good Luck!

Okay I'm definitely one of the last one who blogs about KLFW 2014. (not really a blog post but just wanna record that I've been to KLFW lol). It was my first time joining KL Fashion Week, supporting my favorite local designers including Joe Chia, Pearly Wong (my awesome cousin!), Kittie YiYi...etc and sadly I couldn't make it to some shows due to work :(

Not gonna post any runway photos here as I think you can get better photos in Fashion Sites like Tongue in Chic or you can also check out some klfw style shots in Streething. Anyway, like I said it's my first time so I'm quite amazed how some of my friends actually changes their outfits to every single show. Super semangat! Always love it when you see locals that take fashion seriously. We need more people like that!

Anyway, here's some of the pictures taken during KLFW2014.

One of the best thing is they actually got Nestle La Cremeria on board! Serving us ice creams right in front of the entrance. I mean I never expect that we can actually have ice cream while watching the show loll. Definitely added some spice to KLFW fashion shows.

I remember blogging about La Cremeria long time ago, it comes in 6 variants namely Almond Pecan Praline, Vanilla Cashew Delight, Chocolate Obsession, Chocolate Hazelnut Temptation, Hazelnut Ganache Sensation, and Strawberry Dream and is available in 1.2L tub at major hypermarkets and supermarkets nationwide.

We are having Almond Pecan Praline that day, super yummy!

Our first time!

My talented couzie Pearly Wong!

Me and Ash are both wearing pieces form her previous collection.
Accessories are all from OS Accessories(can get it from L'L'L' Plus in Sg Wang.)

Remember the time I blogged about how I was so tempted to collect the Libresse tin cases? Guess what?? I got all five of them! I've been using Libresse pads & pantyliners for a while now and was so happy that the Libresse promotional pack came with the cute tins!

Sometimes as girls, we tend to spend more than guys do. I’ve lost count how much I spend on pads and pantyliners every month, so I will always go for the good and affordable ones like Libresse. Heck, even if there were no freebies, I would still go for Libresse because the pads & pantyliners are one of the best brands in terms of quality lolll

One thing I love about Libresse is that it’s designed to fit. Like they say, absorption is nothing without fit. Libresse pads are designed anatomically to fit the female body as they have a wider front to secure the pad in place, narrower middle so that it fits comfortably between your thighs, and folds neatly in the back for a close fit to your buttocks.

The pad has a unique contour to fit the female body from the front all the way to the back, and therefore is the only thing that’s in contact with your body and can directly absorb the menses. No more leakage!

To know more about the pad, you can view a detailed video here http://www.livelibresse.com.my/whatslibresse.html

Also, I regularly use Libresse PureFresh Green Tea Odor Control for pads & pantyliners, because I love the soft cottony feel and long-lasting freshness. And especially when I wear scented pads, I feel more comfortable when I wear them at the beginning and ending of my period. The pantyliners are also super thin and comfortable to wear that I sometimes forget that im wearing one, and the most important thing is the pantyliner stays put, especially when I’m out for gym. I’ve tried other brands before where the pad doesn’t stay in place for long :(

Anyway, if you're interested to try it you can always go to their website to get samples. Like it then buy it!!

So.... I guess you watched the video me and Daphne did when we was in Sydney!
If you haven watch it yet, here is it (with chinese subs too all thanks to Daphne lol) :

Okay, it was pretty random how we got this idea. We were chilling at coffee place in bangsar and we started asking each other questions on random stuff. We found out that there's so many things we didnt know and while we're asking halfway, I was like "Wait! we should keep some questions and do a video about this! It's going to be damn funny!!" So we did it in Sydney cuz it's cooler like that lolololll. jkjk. Yep, basically there's more questions but we used up while we're having coffee. BUT ALL THE ONES IN THE VIDEO ARE UNPLANNED LOLLLL. We cut the video so much cuz she was trying so hard to ask some questions that I don't know about her.Its quite fun to know how well your bff knows you. Well, I really think that I'm a super good observant (virgo!!!!) and I really know daphne too well!

Sometimes I think it's a great thing when brands offers free samples to try on so the customers wouldn't waste money on buying things that doesn't fit them. I mean it's better to try something before buying, so I'm that type of person who would take free food samples in supermarkets and go for the ones I like.

Just like Libresse, I've been blogging about them for years and I think it's really great when my readers (you) can get to try them. All you have to do is like Libresse Malaysia facebook page and go to https://www.facebook.com/LibresseMalaysia/app_284297444972713for free 6pcs sample pack!

I have always have a love-hate relationship with online shopping. I hate how sometimes I get conned with the pictures online and getting bad quality products. I guess there's many of you who felt the same way and sometimes you just want to give up online shopping but then, you can't cuz for me, I really love how we can get rare stuff online. That is why I highly recommend reading the reviews by google-ing or sometimes they even have a review section in that site. Which is what I am doing now, making a little contribution so the whole online shopping thing don't go down.

Today I am talking about my experience withRakuten Malaysia (I bet most of you heard about Rakuten, it's ranked #1 online shopping mall in Japan and now we have it in Malaysia!). I really love how their site is well organized and even their mobile site is neat enough, no bugs or crashes! I mean I really think some online shopping malls need to put some effort on their mobile site cuz people nowadays use mobile phones more than laptop.

Some screenshots taken with my phone (feauturing Toki Choi! Hidden gem in Rakuten Malaysia!)

Talking about Toki Choi, it's a brand from Taiwan where they features different styles into one brand. The great thing about them is the quality! I'm really happy with the things I got from them, great quality with a resonable price.

Here's some stuff I get from them! Top & Bottom!! (except for bag & shoes.)

For those who are finding ripped jeans, you can get nice ripped jeans from them! All sorts of ripped jeans!!

I totally ripped this look from the site lol. Love it!

Tie on skirts is on trend!!!

Do you even care to say thank you?

(George St. Sydney)

Today I was having sushi dinner with Daphne and heard her saying "thank you" after the waiter served our food. I told her :"Daphne, luckily you are one of those people who says 'thank you' cuz nowadays many people forgets about thanking people." (I felt that I'm really an observer, I love observing people, how they act, their gesture, stuff like that... I think it's a virgo thing..) Well, I am also the type of person who says 'Thank you" a lot. It's a simple word but I think it's actually a very powerful word but most people choose to neglect.

I'm not sure why nowadays people forgot to thank someone. I mean yes, we normally thank someone while we need help and they are there for us. I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about basic manners when we meet people who does services. I found out that there's a lot of people who takes other people for granted cuz they think it's their job to do so. Yes, it's a waiter job to serve you food, it's a salesman job to get you the right size, but when you get your food served, get the right sizes of clothes, do you say "thank you"? I have friends who don't cuz they think it's their job so why thank them? Or they just forget about thanking them.

Honestly, saying "thank you"makes a difference. It takes less than one sec to say "thank you" but it seems like there's a lot of people who doesn't care at all. Which makes me sad sometimes (not like really sad but I feel that people can do better). A simple thank you can make people feels great about their job (at least a lil bit), or maybe they doesn't care if you thank them but I believe saying "thank you" makes you a better person, makes you a person who cares about the society, who has a big heart.

If you have a bad day, try saying"thank you" to someone. Trust me, your day eventually get better after that. I'm not sure why or how, but I think it's when you're having a bad day but thanking someone means you appreciate something, and saying "thank you" gives you positive vibes. I'm not sure if this has to do with science or math, I can't really explain but it works for me.

It's a small matter and I have no idea why am I writing this post about thanking someone but I do hope that if you read this and never realize that you forgot about thanking someone will start saying "thank you". Stay positive, stay blessed.

If you follow my blog long enough, you should know that I love skin care products cuz I believe that good skin is always better than make up coverage. I love trying on new skin care products so my whole room is full with never ending brands of products lol. Well, today is going to be another skin care sharing post and this is one of the best product I ever shared on my blog!

Basically they have four types, Moisturizing, Pore Cleansing, Whitening and Anti-wrinkle. I've tried the Whitening one so it's not in the picture above lololll. I've actually seen it featured on a few bloggers blog and I always wanted to try this! It's from a very famous Korea Cosmetic Surgery Hospital and I'm glad now we can get it from Hermo (yes, selling excusively online with hermo only)

It's all in korean so yea... but I have to say that I love the whole packaging quality (you know some products has very cin-cai pakaging and you don't feel like buying it but this one is like so medical-ish you can feel it's a good product already by it's packaging.)

Eventho it's in korean, I think no one is dumb enough to not understand step one and step two loll. It's a two piece mask, just tear it of and put on je lah.
One is for the upper part of your face

Another one comes with ear hooks. To tighten our double chin!

You know you're doing it right when you look like you're having plastic surgery lolololll.

After 20 minutes, dont need to whipe off, just massage the excess and let it absorb into your face. I love how they absorb really quickly, I actually used the excess in the pack on my body, haha don't waste it! After you'll done with everything, you willl feel the amazing-ness of this mask physically and mentally. You can feel your face is lifted and tighten! ONE OF THE BEST MASK I EVER USED IN MY LIFE (so far).

Anyway, you can only get it exclusively online on Hermo.my with a price of RM82.50/5pcs or RM17.90/pcs. Personally thinks that you should just get the 5pcs pack with different maks. You'll love it!

How to rock your first job interview.

Hi guys! It's been awhile! If you realize, I've been collaborating with Libresse for years and still counting, and I'm here to talk a lil bit about my recent project with Libresse!

I'm now 22 and I bet most of you who reads my blog since the day I started are have no graduated from college. I remember blogging about school and things like that and now slowly, I'm an adult. It's like you know you are out of the whole teenager phase when you step into your first job interview.

I'm not sure about you but I remember I failed my first job interview and another few after that lolll. I didn't take it seriously. I didn't know there is so much to prep for job interviews and all I knew was to dress presentable loll. Apparently there's more to do and check before going to an interview. It's really important how you make the first impression to the company, either they buy it or they hate it.

Of course, you have to act differently when you interview for different types of job but having the cheerful and positive mindset is a big plus to most companies. I think no one wants to hire a sad person. Confidence is the point!

Anyway, if you have no idea why you failed your interviews, you can check out “Hello, Confidence” by Libresse. It's a site where you can learn how to prep for your job interviews. First things first, learn how to dress for your interview. You can also learn about hair and make-up tutorial by Cheeserland, and other helpful videos on this page.

You can also upload your outfit and get rated to see which is a go-go and which is a no-go.

Next, after you get your perfect outfit, there's some great tips for you before facing your first job interview.

So much to learn!!!

First you can check out their checklist to see what you need to prepare for your job interview. I think one of the most important things to have is a list of questions that you could ask about my job or the company. This leaves a good impression on yourself as you’ll look prepared and highly interested in the particular job. Also, you’ll get to understand the company more and consider further if it’s the right job for you.

You can also take a look at interview Do’s and Don’ts and try to avoid as many Don’ts as possible! Sometimes even the smallest thing can leave a very bad impression on yourself. For example, it’s always a must to be at the interview at least 10 minutes earlier. Being on time is fine, but being late even for 5 minutes is a no-no lolll you don’t want to give the interviewer the impression that you’re not a punctual person.

Do check out the FAQs for answers to common questions asked during interviews. For example, don’t most of us want to know if we should follow up on the interview cos that would make us look desperate? You can find out the answer hereloll and remember to read the other FAQs too.

You can also learn how to rock your interview by keeping the conversation going. I think it's important to own the conversation and keep things hyped. It's really bad when your interview is boring and awkward. Which happened to me on my first interview when my anxiety kicked in and all I wanted was to do end the interview quickly :/

The part where I hated the most was when the interviewer asked “Tell me about yourself.. ”. My mind literally went blank cuz I have 0 confidence about myself. I have no idea what's good about me. I gave an awkward smile and it's a very bad closure for my interview. So if you're wondering how to react, go on to the site to see how people rocked their pitch about themselves. I basically think the key point is to sound confident but not full of yourself. Keep it real.

Open Your City

I'm not an at-home type of person, I love going out and getting inspired by people, music, and the environment, which explains why I'm definitely a city girl. My biggest dream could possibly be travelling to cities around the world.

Okay, maybe I should start with the six cities that made it on to Heineken's new limited edition bottles, London, New York, Shanghai, Berlin, Amsterdam and our very own Kuala Lumpur (okay so it's 5 more to go)!

I'm pretty proud to be a kay-elle girl cuz I think Kuala Lumpur is one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Especially the Twin-Towers, thank god we “planted” it there before any other city thought about it lol. I'm serious!

Kuala Lumpur is amazing. There's plenty of “hidden gems” around this city to be discovered! If you follow my instagram, you can see that I've been hunting for new food places or hide-out cafes, I really need to credit Heineken for the “Open Your City” campaign for some of the “hidden gems”. If you're wondering how it works, it's actually pretty simple.

Just go to openyourcity.heineken.comand enable your location service in your device, then you'll see these buttons popping around the streets.

Please don't tell me KL is boring unless you've been to every single spot.

Another quick life hack to know the latest cool place in town is to go twitter and tweet @wherenext and your location to get instant updates about events and parties happening in town.

For more information on Heineken’s Cities campaign or to locate new gems to explore in your city be sure to check out. openyourcity.heineken.com

Sleek straight hair is one of the most effortless fashionable hairstyle you can ever achieve. It brings out the edge and attitude easily which explains why pin straight hair is one of the favourite hair style for fashion week. It goes really well with nude or statement make up, my favourite will be straight hair, red lips.

I personally think that girls with perfect straight hair has really strong personality, they look confident, cool and fashionable. Honestly, I have natural-born straight hair but my hair gets very frizzy after all the chemicals I did. My hair is really dry hence once it touches the water, it gets tangled easily and I hate it how after I blow dry my hair, my hair looks like a broom, especially the hair ends.

Well, recently I get to try the new Sunsilk range – Sunsilk Perfect Straight shampoo and Sunsilk Perfect Straight Conditioner. Co-created with Yuko Yamashita, the straight hair expert from Tokyo, perfectly made for people who would like to have beautifully straight hair.

The formulation contains straight hair technology™ that keeps your hair beautifully straight and aligned as it dries.

Best thing is.... you can finally throw all your crazy ideas to get a perfect straight hair...

So if you are trying to achieve the perfect straight hair, all you need to do is...
Change your shampoo to Sunsilk Perfect Straight hair shampoo heh.

The scent of the shampoo is really good too!

I love how their conditioner comes in a tube.

Leave it on wet hair for a minute and rinse. I personally use it more on the ends cuz mine is really frizzy!

Blow it dry (personally dont advice to blow dry your hair in high temperature) and see how it its beautifully straight. Behold....
My perfect straight hair.

Complete it with my outfit of the day :
Top – Topshop
Bottom & Body Chain – H&M
Bag – Alexander Wang
Bracelet - Balenciaga
