Oktoberfest!

It's October and what makes October exciting is the month of Oktoberfest, it's another awesome celebration you wouldn't want to miss! Like every year, Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB), the leading beer and stout company in Malaysia will be celebrating the iconic German Oktoberfest with awesome promotions!!!

I've blogged a lot about Oktoberfest Malaysia since 2-3 years ago, well, here's a lil fun fact about Oktoberfest I grabbed online :


It's a celebration filled with joy! There will be tons of fun Oktoberfest Malaysia events throughout the month of October. From good food from around the world, great fun with exciting contests, promotions and activities and of course, GAB’s selection of award-winning beers including Tiger, Guinness, Heineken and the official Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier, brewed exclusively for the Oktoberfest season.

Fyi, Paulaner was first brewed by monks from the Paulaner monastery in 1634 making it almost 380 years old – however it is still the “youngest” of the Oktoberfest Beers.

At the Oktoberfest celebration, each Oktoberfest beer operates a number of tents which provide different drinking experiences. Paulaner is famousfor three widely popular tents, namely: -
      • Armbrustschützenzelt– ‘Armbrust’ means crossbow and this tent certainly lives up to its name with a crossbow shooting range available for more than 110 years
      • Käfer's Wies'n-Schänke– this is a smaller tent that gets VIP visitors from all over the world and serves signature gourmet food such as “Käfer-Duck” and a roast saddle of venison.
      • Winzerer Fähndl – This tent is also popular amongst VIPs due to its attention to detail, celebrated oompah band called “Nockherberger” and iconic tower with a giant mug of Paulaner sitting a top it.

Of course, don't forget about the special edition Oktoberfest Mug with a limited edition metal lid you'll get when you enjoy GAB’s iconic brews ( first come first serve!!!)

 When it comes to my daily style, I love simple, casual pieces. I believe that sometimes keeping it simple is also a type of fashion, you don't need to wear shocking pieces to wow everyone every single time but then with some key pieces that people will actually talk about it.

Cole Haan is one of the casual yet fashionable brands that I love. Cole Haan was a men's footwear label at it first started decades ago, now it offers quite a wide range of men's and women's products. Of course, keeping it in simple yet sleek fashion.

hitz.fm Birthday Invasion X Ford Fiesta Launch

My September ended so well, or should I say I had the best September ever! Other than celebrating my 21stbirthday, it was also hitz.fm birthday bash last week! If you didn't know, hitz.fm birthday bash @ Taylor's Lakeside University was presented by Ford, in conjuction with the launch of the New Ford Fiesta.



Hope you didn't forget that I was also playing a huge role that night! I'm the #Fashionista agent for the whole My Fiesta Movement project :D It's one of the best thing I ever had/did in 2013, collaborationg with Ford is a huge huge huge thing!!! Unfortunately, there's a miscommunication at my side and I can't believe I actually missed the media launch that night :/ Deeply felt sorry and sad that I didn't make it for the launch but just in time for the party.

Anyway, going back to Taylor's this time was different..... MY FACE WAS THERE HAGGING OUTSIDE BLOCK E!!! I used to dream to become a commercial model or something but this is even better, felt so awesome to be recognized by being myself. As a fashionista, my dad should be really proud of me cuz fashion to our family is a big big thing. ( Daddy's working in this whole fashion industrial for years, way before I was born ) 



I am one lucky girl.

So I became an Air Stewardess

 Before I actually started my life as a blogger, other than modelling, there's this part of me actually thought of becoming an air stewardess. Imagine traveling the world, getting good pay, it's one of the best job you can ever imagine.

Of course, you can't just be a part of the cabin crew, there's a lot of interviews, trials, etc to go through. BUT it's not that hard as it sounds like, you don't have to be super pretty or super tall, sometimes is about your personality. I do heard cases about pretty girls who wasn't qualified, it's really about the personality I can say.

Lucky me, I get to become an Air Stewardess for a day all thanks to Edufly. A few of us bloggers were invited to experience A Day in a life of a Cabin Crew. We get to learn how to groom ourselves. Apparently every airline has different style/way of grooming, and they look for different type of girls, some airline love wild look and some prefers elegant lady look, so it depends, you can really get tons of “secrets” from Edufly.

Insider of the day :- Rhythm of the Rain

I felt really really bad cuz I rarely blog recently, I've got tons of stuff to blog but I rarely have time to (my god I haven even blog about my birthday and it's already a month ago...) It's a real busy month I can say, luckily I still have instgram and facebook to do my instant updates. Deeply apologize to my readers, you, who still come to my blog everyday and wait for updates, please forgive my laziness :((

October is a great month, schedule filled with events, photoshoots and meetings. One of the highlight event of the month was Rhythm of The Rain movie promotion in Malaysia. All thanks to Livescape , I get to be a part by playing a role of an insider. YESSS I GET TO FOLLOW THE STARS AROUNDDDDD. Like an official stalker lolll.

I was so so so so so happy cuz Vincent Fang 方文山 is one of my fav song writer, he writes really good lyrics for many singers and I guess he writes most for Jay Chou. I love how the way he sees things differently, so I was really excited to watch his very first movie, Rhythm of The Rain 聽見下雨的聲音.

On the same day after the press con, it's Rhythm of The Rain Gala Premier Screening @ GSC, Pavilion.
Luckily me! Got a group shot with the stars ~

The next day was to TARC @ Wangsa Maju with Vincent fang, Queen and Ginnie. Vivan Hsu and Alan went back to Taiwan for work that morning. Ahhh, life of a superstar.
The whole hall was pack with students! Power of Vincent Fang.

After that, we get to have lunch together!!!! Didn't really take pictures cuz I am really paiseh to interrupt them :/ BUT I TOOK PICS WITH VINCENT!!!
Wanted to talk to him more but my anxiety kills. My chinese terus become cacat idk why.

After that was another promotional event @ Sg Wang.
Queen sung the movie theme song live. IT WAS SOOO GOOOODDDD!

In conjunction with Start Society and Chatime, they made a Love Lock Fence where the purchase of the love locks will be funded to Start Society.

Overall it was hectic to become an insider but it's all worth, I couldn't imagine how tiring the stars are. I have to confess that I'm totally addicted to Rhythm of the Rain theme song. I have to play it before I sleep every night.lolll 


If you haven watched the movie, please go and watch when it's still on screen! Unlike other love movies, the storyline of the movie is really unexpected and it's really beautifully filmed. Hope you guys will enjoy it like how I really do.

It's not really Halloween till Thursday but people tend to celebrate it on a weekend don't they? Last year's Halloween was one really memorable one, but this year, I decided to join Yaasui's YALLOWEEN party @ 69 bistro since we didn't have time to plan our own party. I was invited as a Guest DJ that night, yes for those who didn't know, I started to do dj gigs on events, taking it as a super fun hobby.

Last year I was a wizard girl, I was so busy recently, I didn't get to rent a costume so I decided to go as Wednesday Addams, one of my fav childhood icon. Posted a pic on FB, apparently a lot of people mistaken my outfit as The Orphan. I guess those who got right came from the same era or older era :/

I personally think I did a great job :P especially the hair, I purposely draw the M illusion on my forhead. Also, thanks to my sis, Jill for helping me to get someone to tailor the collar.

Amazed by all the costumes, there's so much more diff dress ups from the pictures I posted. A lil sad about the sound system tech problem but overall, it was a great party! One thing I must say that I love Yaasui parties cuz almost everyone dress up! It's hard to get a party that everyone is comfortable dressing up as anything they wanted to. Keep it up YAASUI!!!!

Queen B in Perth.

Everyone been asking why didn't I update my blog, I felt really guilty to be honest. I'm not sure since when I lost my inspiration to blog, I just wasn't in the mood to. Saying that I don't have time to blog, sometimes I think I'm just making excuses, but I do need some time to blog. I can actually just upload pictures with caption and publish. But I just can't. I can't accept un-edited pictures, not because my camera is not good, just that I always need to edit the colors and tones of the pictures before posting it. It's a Jane thing. I think it's a virgo thing again loll.

Today, I'm gonna update about my Perth trip! It was a real rush trip but it's surely an amazing one. Believe it or not, I flew all the way to Perth just for Beyonce!!!!! Big thanks to Pepsico Malaysia. How I wish I could extend my trip but my schedule was so pack :/ 

Also thanks to my baby Daphne for bringing me around Perth thou it's just a really quick tour.
 



I still couldn't believe that I've experience the power of Queen B. I mean watching Beyonce's live performance is totally inside everyone's MUST-DO-BEFORE-DIE list. I can't tell how lucky am I. It's going to be one of the most memorable moment in my life. Her performance was crazy, I can't find a powerful word to describe it,but  I can tell you that watching her performing live made me cry. I just don't know why I teared but it's just amazing. Her dance, her voice.... 

Seriously, it was like a dream.
I LOVE YOU QUEEN B. 

It was such a sad thing that she couldn't make it to Malaysia the last time, I really hope someday she get to come so us Malaysians get to experience it too.

Magnum Mini Launch

 Magnum Mini Launch @ Publika was a blast. I've never been to any ice-cream event so I was really excited for the event. I remember how much I wanted to go Magnum's previous event when I saw my friends posting about in on instagram.

I remember when I was young, Magnum is like the most atas ice-cream among others when I see it in the fridge at any mini market loll. Fact is, Magnum is one of the world's leading ice cream brands, selling one billion units annually worldwide and it is the biggest brand of Unilever Ice Cream.


The new Magnum Minicomes in 3 different flavors – Magnum Mini Classic, Magnum Mini Almond and Magnum Mini Brownie.
All coated in thick cracking Belgian Chocolate!!!!

I'm so glad that they had the same chocolate bar as the one last time (which made me go omg I also want on instagram), Magnum Mini Moment molded in 3D for us to keep! It comes in a few different mini indulgences, I chose a Magnum Mini mold.

It's not easy to write that JANE at all...


One of the highlight of the event was the Mini House of Pleasure, featuring Pleasure Icons personal Magnum Mini Moment, Atilia Harun, Nadia Heng, Joyce Wong, Vivy Yusof, Debbie Goh, Carmen Soo, Elaine Daly, Xandria Ooi and Jonathan Putra .


We get to experience the augmented reality projection of the different Magnum Mini Moments around the Magnum Mini House of Pleasure before it goes public!! WHICH IS SUPER COOL!!!!

Not sure whether you can see, there's two Joyce in one bed lololll.

The most anticipated motor show in Malaysia is back!!! The 8th Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2013 (KLIMS13) will be held from 15 to 24 November 2013 at the Putra World Trade Centre, coming back with the theme “Efficiency in Motion”.  
Automakers are responding to environmental concerns, fuel hikes, market competition and consumer demands by coming up with extraordinary vehicles made not only to run but are also fuel-efficient and technologically green. (www.klims.com.my)

Speaking about environmental friendly, Ford will again be doing this with a preview of two new models – the EcoSport and an additional variant of the latest Fiesta which will have a 1-litre EcoBoost engine.

最近真的很少更新部落格 真的是太忙了 有時間也拿來睡覺 加上相機壞去了 根本就是沒辦法更新呀 :/ 所以最近都會在Dayre更新 非常方便 所以可以關注我喔 @janechuck :DDD

I'm a loyal Sunflower

Out of so many flowers, I am The Loyal Sunflower. I think it's quite accurate cuz I think I am a peaceful person, even had a “peace” tattoo on me lol. To be honest, I don't like dramas or things that cause issues so I am very aware with every actions I take. Maybe it's a Virgo thing too. I tend to think a lot before making any decisions, I think about me, I think about people that involve with, is it worth taking that step?

It's so true that I'm a total optimistic person. I believe that having a positive mind is the key of happiness, also staying positive brings luck! Well, at least it works for me! I'm quite happy with me being a Sunflower although I thought I would be the romantic rose *ahem* lollll

Speaking about Libresse, they recently collaborated with a few local talented female designers to design limited edition tin cases that come with a pack of Libresse PureFresh or unscented pantyliners. Which I think it's really really cool cuz Libresse is supporting and recognizing the work of our local female designers.

There was one point in my life when I was kinda into designing, therefore I really admire the work of these artists that can come up with personalities that can be linked to each flower. Also, I find the design on the tins inspiring as it really reflects very very feminine image. 

The best thing is, I love collecting tin cases to keep stuff like accessories or stickers or anything that can fit inside the box loll. I bet there's a lot of girls like me who love to collect tin cases, I got like tons of unique biscuit tin cases but it's hard to find pretty ones like these!


Can't wait to get them in stores!!

Coffe and Art with Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom

Just got my hands on Samsung Galaxy S4zoom and I decided to bring it out to do a few test shot! Found a new coffee place to chill, Art & Gallery cafe @ St. Mary Residency, I think the owner of this place loves art, and prolly an artist too. People who love art & coffee should really check this place out!

The pictures below are all taken with the Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom, non edited, using Auto-mode.
One of my fav piece of art in the cafe.

Hi loves! I'm so sorry for not updating here, seems like I've been apologizing every time I update my blog :/ I've been updating on Dayre (cuz it's much more convenient) so do follow me there @janechuck for instant updates! Of course, I've been looking for a new semi-pro camera recently so I could blog more good qualities one here, any suggestions? 

Anyway, just get to check out a new rooftop bar, Tetto Rooftop @ Changkat. This place is really cool, all the walls are covered with graffiti, makes the whole place look really gangsta ( the urban gangsta gangsta not the pariah one loll ). Definitely a new hide out place! 

there's a rooftop above the rooftop loll, I mean there's a upper deck, didn't went up there cuz I was wearing skirt tho...


 Epic smile.

Damn nice graffiti walls, wonder if I can come here everyday for ootd shots lolllll.
